Don't be Rude

You may not love someone's joke, but that doesn't mean you have to make them feel badly about it. We all have our own sensibilities and our individual senses of humor, but most importantly... We all have feelings :-(

Have Fun

Don't take yourself too seriously, but more importantly, don't take other people too seriously. While some people are more easily offended than others, understand that jokes are jokes. They aren't meant to hurt anyone. However, with that said, anyone who crosses the line can be booted from our happy little joke site faster than a steak in a fruit contest. Yeah, that's right. A steak in a fruit contest. We went there.

Don't infringe on copyright

We know you're filled with brilliant ideas, but so are other people. And if you take their ideas, misuse them or claim them as your own, you can get yourself into a whole world of trouble. So, to put it simply... DON'T. We're only looking out.

Share Jokes

This isn't some exclusive club. This is JokeyPhone. If you see a joke you like, send it along. Post it. Blog about it. Spread the word. Give that jokester the credit he or she deserves!

Rate Properly

Remember, people: kids visit the site. If your joke isn't Safe, don't say it is. We don't want people calling us complaining that little Bobby got caught on the playground telling sex jokes. That's no good for anyone.

No Commercial Use

JokeyPhone is meant for personal use only. The last thing we'd want to do is cancel your account, so don't try to sell any products or services. It will only end badly. Don't get us wrong. We are fully supportive of PROMOTING yourself. Again, just don't SELL yourself... (insert perverted comment here).
